Custom Calligraphy
Designs: All calligraphy work is
custom designed hand drawn artwork and may vary from sample provided
above due to variations in paper, ink, or other writing surface. All
custom artwork is nonrefundable.
Due Dates: Final address list and all
paper stock shall be due to calligrapher on: __________________.
Complete Calligraphy order shall be shipped to customer on or
before: ___________________. Any additions / deletions or
corrections made to the mailing list after the due date may delay
delivery past the shipping date.
Invitation Assembly / Mailing:
At the customer’s request we can assemble, seal, and mail your completed
invitation for an additional charge. Customers selecting this option
must supply all components of the invitation and proper postage at
least three days prior to the shipping date. Proper etiquette
requires that invitations be mailed out at least six weeks prior to
the event date. If
postage is supplied by Tropical Treasures of Palm Beach LLC, we
shall use the United States Post Office $0.61 (Wedding Cake) stamp
and the $0.44 (Wedding Rings) stamp. Both stamps can be viewed at
www.usps.com.
Deposit: 50% deposit is required to secure a
place on the production schedule and start your order. Deposits are
nonrefundable.
Customer Supplied Stock: In some rare cases, paper
stock may be coated and unable to be written upon using pen and ink
or will not allow ink to dry. In these cases the stock may be
treated with a chemical fixative. If this treatment is needed,
customer will be advised and charged an additional fee. If customer
supplied stock cannot be treated, order will be cancelled and
deposits refunded.
Customer acknowledges that errors will occur with hand calligraphy
or artwork. Customer bears full responsibility for the replacement
cost of any item or paper stock on which an error occurs. Tropical
Treasures of Palm Beach LLC, its owners, agents, and employees bear
no responsibility for replacement of any items on which an error
occurs during the calligraphy or art process.
Availability: You may reserve a time slot to ensure
availability for $75.00 (non-refundable: applied towards your
balance). This is highly recommended.
Rush Charges: There will be a 25% additional charge
per piece for any work needed in five days or less.
Time Allotment: Typical weddings of 150
invitations require two weeks to complete.
Minimum order: $50.00.
Final Payment: Final Payment is due before
order is shipped.
Methods of Payment: Payment may be made by
PayPal (credit card or e-check), credit card (MasterCard / Visa),
personal check (funds must clear prior to production), or money
order made out to Tropical Treasures of Palm Beach, LLC.
Camera Ready Artwork: All custom camera ready
artwork designs are returned to customer ready to be taken to a
printer of your choice in paper and electronic format.
Address Lists: Mailing / name lists must
be provided in Microsoft Word or Excel format in our provided
format. No handwritten lists will be accepted. Addresses will be
written out as they appear on the customer supplied mailing list.
The word apartment or number can be replaced by a small bullet
symbol so they do not require an extra line. Please indicate your
preference when ordering. All envelopes will be addressed according
to standard rules of etiquette unless otherwise specified in special
instructions above.
Missing Zip Codes:
There will be an additional charge of $0.75per address
to look up each missing zip code.
Additional Customer Supplied Stock:
All paper stock is supplied by customer. Customer must supply an
additional 20% of stock above quantity ordered for any additions,
errors, or changes. Example: if 100 envelopes are to be addressed,
then 120 envelopes must be provided by the customer. Envelopes with
liners or thick envelopes which will not allow a guide to show
through will incur an additional $0.50 charge per envelope for
preparation.
Additions / Changes: Additions / Changes to
mailing list received after order has started production will be
billed at twice the usual per piece rate and will be shipped with
your order. Late additions which are received after your order has
shipped will be billed at double the usual rate plus any applicable
shipping charges.
Shipping / Delivery:
Postage / Shipping fees are in addition to standard pricing. All shipping
will be via FedEx, USPS, or UPS. Tropical Treasures of Palm Beach
LLC is not responsible for any damage that may occur during
shipping. Any local orders requiring delivery will incur a $25.00
delivery charge.
